'Discipline Key To Fighting Drug Abuse'

Bandar Seri Begawan - Drug does not discriminate the young from the old, the rich from the poor, and the educated from those who are not." This was said by Her Royal Highness Princess Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah in her sabda during the Pidato Anti-Dadah competition at the Institute Perkhidmatan Awam, Gadong yesterday. HRH was accompanied by HRH Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bulqiah at the event that saw eight students battling it out during the anti-drug contest. Princess Azemah also said, in her sabda, that there are "many excuses given by young individuals who get involved in drug abuse; some say curiosity, others blame it on peer pressure. Some use drugs to enhance their physical and mental endurances, while others try it solely out of boredom. None of these excuses, however, justify having a drug habit".
